COMMITTEE PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR BPP'S E-PROCUREMENT DRIVE

  Earlier today at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja, Rt. Hon  Unyime Idem PhD, presided over the budget defence of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) for the 2026 fiscal year.  In his remarks, he assured of the Committee's commitment to review BPP's 2026 estimates to ensure it aligns with national priorities, particularly in strengthening compliance monitoring, deepening e-procurement implementation, and building institutional capacity across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), insisting that every Naira appropriated must translate into measurable impact for the Nigerian people.
