BECAUSE OF A FEMALE CHILD: He divorced me

 

My husband dívorced me because I could not give birth to a female child.

I know this dóesn't make sense, it didn't to me as well. We live in a world were men crave more for male children than the female.

During the time of our dating, my husband often told me how he adored female kids.

I was really fascinated and loved the fact he placed a good value on the female children, but that was a feeling for the moment because I felt he was exaggerating and probably he was only saying that to impress me.

We got married in 2012 and my first child happened to be a boy, I was grateful because what was mostly a próblem to some women became a breakthrough on my first trial.

My second child was a boy and then third also a boy. This was when the whole divorce thing started.

After my return from the hospital, I started noticing the inténse desire he had for me to give birth to a female child.

           During the first two pregnancy it was just light wishes of having a female child but after the third he made it look like it was my fault.

That was when I became scar!ed of lóosing my husband, his attitude towards me changed.

This féar made me conceive quickly without the usual chíld spacing of two to three years I and my husband had agreed on.

Fate had it that I gave birth to the fourth male child and right in the hospital I was héartbróken. Instead of being grateful to God for a safe delivery I was rather scar!ed of going home to fáce my husband.

Some months after the emotíonal tor!ture of giving birth to the fourth male child my husband brought to my notice his plans of getting married to a second wife.

Like every virtuous and jéalous wife, I could not agree to that and we ended up getting a divorce.

I later discovered he was already having an affair with the lady he married during the time of my fourth pregnancy.

Early this year I heard the lady gave birth to the second female child for him.

One thing I'm struggling with is how to tell my teenage boys their father aban!doned them because they're male children.
