AKHA: PUBLIC HEARING

 


The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly will, on Monday, July 28, 2025, hold a public hearing on the bill for a law to provide for a peaceful and orderly transfer of executive power from one democratically elected Governor to another and for matters connected therewith. 


The hearing, championed by the House Committee on Intergovernmental, Political, and Special Matters, will take place at the Old Chapel, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Uyo.


The committee is chaired by Hon. Elder Emem Etokabasi Udom , who represents the Ukanafun State constituency. 


According to a release by the committee chairman, Stakeholders and the public are invited to attend and contribute to the discussion on this important bill.
