In demonstration of its resolve to “meeting needs” of the vulnerable families and communities in the world, especially the African continent, the Okongko Charity Foundation, a Canadian-based humanitarian services provider has recently added no fewer than two Akwa Ibomites into its Scholarship Roll.

The recent Beneficiaries of the Foundation's humanitarian gesture are — Okon Daniel Dominic, a 100-level student of Guidance and Counselling and Daniel Eneh, a 100-level student of Political Science Education both of the University of Uyo.

#Okon Daniel Dominic hails from Eniong Offot in Uyo while #Daniel Eneh is an indigene of Okobo LGAs in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, Africa.

A statement from the African Representative of the Foundation, Mr. Daniel Ekanem, has confirmed the payment of their full session school fees by the Foundation, Thursday, 10 and Tuesday 22 July, 2025, respectively.

The statement reads in part: “The Okongko Charity Foundation has added more Akwa Ibomites into its Scholarship Roll. To concretise this, full session fees have been paid to them courtesy of our Foundation by the Head of Humanitarian/Accounts, Eka Inok. This is yet another milestone in our resolve to continue meeting the needs of those below the belts of life in our society. Congratulations to the latest beneficiaries and God bless the Founder of the Okongko Charity Foundation, #Dr.Chris Okongko”.

Meanwhile, the development, according to the African Representative, are commemorative of the one-month grand opening of the Okongko Charity Foundation corporate office at 118 Atiku Abubakar Avenue, in Uyo.

Available records have shown that the Okongko Charity Foundation, bankrolled by Dr. Chris Okongko, an Ukanafun-born Canadian-based humanist and businessman, has more than 2000 Nigerians in its Scholarship Roll, as well as a deep-rooted history in grassroots/community development, and intervention in infrastructure, business grants to communities amongst other humanitarian engagements, across the African continent and the world over.
