WHEN THANK YOU IS NOT ENOUGH!

Your Lordship,

I would have simply said, thank you for visiting us on Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025, but sincerely, no amount of thank you would convey the degree of my gratitude to you and your organization, Strength in Diversity Development Centre (SDDC), Lagos, Nigeria.

This is why I will rather anchor this note of gratitude on the premise that one cannot be a farmer that works before, or during farming season, and then, be made to starve. He who waters must also be watered.

Your Lordship, God has blessed you with the GIFT of ‘Liftings’ and wishing others well, so, WELLNESS Must STICk on you, your household and your Ministry.

As a matter of fact, I have received several compliments from people of goodwill in the near recent time, but truthfully, "Arise and Shine" with the Biblical reference from the book of  Prophet Isaiah 60:1, remains the greatest compliment of all times, echoing in my memory, even days after.

That Tuesday, to me was just like any other day, nothing ever suggested to me that I was going to have an encounter with a renowned charismatic gospel general, Bishop Emmah Isong, until about eleven O'clock in morning, when suddenly, the Servant of God walked into my office with other attendees, to attend a conference I was never part of. My only connection with the conference was the provision of facilities to aid the engagement.

Bishop Emmah Isong is practically a very busy person, with lots of ministerial assignments within and outside Nigeria, therefore, creating time for other engagements was the least of his priority, as every schedule has to be approved by team of protocols managing his routine.

Whatever prompted him to embark on facility tour around my office space in between the conference organized by the Strength in Diversity Development Centre (SDDC)

Lagos, Nigeria, remains unknown but divine.

For me, it was only a rare privilege to have this gospel general making sight seeing and endorsing our Okongko Charity Foundation Conference facility at No118 Atiku Abubakar Avenue, Uyo for public use.

Okongko Charity Foundation is delighted to be commanded to Arise and shine. This is a long standing prophecy of Isaiah. It is both symbolic and a command with deep spiritual implications to cause the Foundation to continue to shine in the midst of darkness and brings out the glory of God to the human race.

As the African Representative of the foundation, this message, "Arise and Shine" is a powerful reminder of the greeting of Angel Gabriel to Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, "Hail Mary full of Grace... (Luke 1:28).

The message is clear and fulfilling, too. One thing is certain, I was happy I heard his voice and held his hands and I must confess that I enjoyed his brief present while the conference lasted.

Thank you, Bishop Emmah Isong for your endorsement of our conference room for public use!

Daniel Ekanem is the African Representative of Okongko Charity Foundation.
