Voters Sensitization: UBOKOBONG UDOWOREN CANVASSES SUPPORT FOR TINUBU, AKPABIO, UMO ENO

The Youth Leader Ikot Ekpene North West Senatorial District of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Ubokobong Udoworen has lent his voice to the ongoing voters sensitization exercise in the Senatorial District. According to him, voter education should be continuous as it will enlighten the youths against disenfranchisement during elections, and other national engagements.

The Youth leader and grassroots mobiliser made the advocacy penultimate weekend when he joined the wife of the President of the Senate, Dr. Ekaette Unoma Akpabio to the voters sensitization campaign in Ukanafun Local Government.

Speaking with members of the press, the community leader and philanthropist commended the Senate President and wife, Dr. Ekaette  Akpabio for embarking on the exercise, noting that such gesture was necessary to prepare the minds of the youths, women and elderly people in the grassroots ahead of the forthcoming polls in 2027, as well as equip them to be counted on the side of patriotism when needs arises.

He rallied support for the reelection of  President Bola Tinubu, Senator Akpabio and the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno PhD, noting with satisfaction that the trio represents a turning point in the future of Nigeria and the state in particular.

“I'm delighted to lend my voice to the voters education campaign led to Ukanafun today by a no mean personality, our mother and wife of our Leader, Senator God's will Akpabio. The importance of possessing and using the voter card cannot be overemphasized, and it's not only used for elections. It's our personal identity document, especially in this 21st century where it could be needed in banks amongst other important places.

“My advice would always be that, our people  should grab this opportunity with both hands; go out there and get registered for that will serve you a choice, a voice and a mandate tomorrow. For me, as a grassroots oriented politician, I'll continue to do my best to support, to encourage and point out the torch light for my generation to see and be counted tomorrow”.

While calling on stakeholders from all strata of the society to bring the people up to speed with the knowledge of having a PVC, Udoworen reiterated that “political parties, civil society organizations, youth organizations, women groups, persons with disabilities, traditional rulers, religious leaders, the academia, security agencies and  media organizations must come together to inform and educate the citizens and prospective voters on the importance of PVC in today's world.
