REP. IDEM REPRESENTS SENATE PRESIDENT, SENATOR DR. GODSWILL AKPABIO AT BURIAL OF MOTHER-IN-LAW OF MINISTER OF STATE PETROLEUM (GAS) EKPERIKPE EKPO

 




The Member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency and Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Public Procurement, Rep. Unyime Idem, Ph.D., today represented the President of the 10th Senate, Senator Dr. Godswill Akpabio, GCON, at the funeral of Obonganwan Magdalene Ubom, mother-in-law of the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. (Obongemem) Ekperikpe Ekpo. 


Rep. Idem, at the funeral event, which held in Ika Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state, presented the message of condolence of the Senate President, who extended his heartfelt commiserations to the Minister, his dear wife and her entire family. 


The Senate President described the Late Obonganwan Magdalene Udoakpan as one who distinguished herself as an industrialist, commercial farmer and respected woman leader, adding that "her power of example transcended her temporal existence to serve as inspiration to generations."
