I, Comr. Heritage Akan, writing as a proud daughter of Uruk Otong Ikot-Arankere, Ukanafun Local Government Area and the National Treasurer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), formally extend my warmest greetings and profound appreciation for your exemplary representation.


As a national student leader, I have been keenly observant of your legislative strides. I want to specifically acknowledge that everything you have been doing; from your strategic role in the National Assembly to your grassroots projects, has been done with a vision for the total liberation and empowerment of our people.


Under my watch as the National Treasurer of NANS, I have witnessed your unprecedented commitment to human capital development. Within just over two years in the 10th National Assembly, your impact has been monumental: from facilitating the employment of 1,000 Akwa Ibomites into strategic Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, to the payment of bursaries and scholarships to thousands of students.


I am particularly impressed by your most recent strategic initiative of sponsoring constituents to the United Kingdom for Master’s Degree programs. I charged these beneficiaries to serve as good ambassadors of their various constituencies, Akwa Ibom State, and Nigeria at large, while also underscoring that this opportunity constitutes a profound form of generational wealth and a lifetime gateway to elevating their academic and professional standing.


This, alongside your focus on skill acquisition, ICT, and the distribution of essential equipment to over 8,000 constituents, specifically targeting our students and youths, proves your heart for the next generation. 


Furthermore, your dedication to our rural infrastructure through the installation of thousands of solar-powered street lights across 200 communities has brought safety and light to our people.


Your administrative blueprint and consistent delivery have established a gold standard for legislative excellence. It gives me great pride as a constituent to you driving a legacy of academic growth and real economic progress for our people. 


Your leadership is not just felt in the halls of the National Assembly but is deeply rooted in the lives of the students, youths, men, and women, you serve.

LEAKED: SUPPORT GROUP HEADS WRITES UMOENO

  - Demands fulfillment of promises he made to them prior to 2023 elections - Decries exclusion from ARISE AGENDA & Government Activities  The Umoeno Support Group Heads  started gathering under the umbrella of GENUINE GROUP HEADS FORUM (GGHF) for the first time, in a private residence of one of them at Ikot Oku Ikono,on 22nd June and numbered about 86,they  promised to, as a matter of fact and urgency, extend their grievances in writing to Amb.
