The Guide reporter who visited Christ The King Model Primary School last Monday 27 January, to ascertain the state of the facility discovered that the school’s ICT Centre was no longer functioning in the school.   A fight between a teacher and a student at Moruga Secondary school has just ended. It's alleged that the teacher slapped the student for not tagging inn his shirt prompting the student to respond with kicks , blows and slaps to the teacher. It happened in South Africa. The teacher was overpowered by the student and sustained serious injuries before being rushed to hospital for treatment. Meanwhile the student has left the school and promised that he will never come back to the same institution. Look at the embarrassments now ! Lord help us in this cruel world.

Girl confesses to the police. The Delta state police have posted the confession of a girl who faked her kidnààpping and got her parents to pay a ransom of N2 Million just to give to her boyfriend.  She explained that she told her boyfriend to stage her kidnaàp and demand the sum of 2 million naira from her parents, whom she described as well-to-do. After receiving the money from her parents, she gave her boyfriend 1.5 million naira and kept 500,000 naira for herself. @highlight

wa Ibom Police Arrest Six Suspects for Alleged Gang-Rape In a swift and decisive response to a disturbing case of alleged gang-rape, the Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested six suspects in connection with the repeated assault of a 13-year-old boy over a period of three years. The State Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Azare, disclosed this information during his maiden briefing held at the command's headquarters in Ikot Akpan-Abia, Uyo on Monday, January 13, 2025.   This is Paul Alexander. He is one of the last people to live in an Iron Lung. He was diagnosed with Polio at the age of 6 which lead to paralysis from the neck down.  The machine is made to compress and depress the chest. He recently turned 74 and still relies on the Iron Lung to keep him alive.  I understand that the level of hardship and despair you are facing right now may hit the rooftop but before you give up, remember Paul. He still lives happily, full of smiles and gratitude.  If you aren't wealthy yet, thank God that you have food to eat. If you don't have food, thank God you have good health. If you are sick, thank God that you can still breath. By all means be grateful and don't lose hope.

  The Nigerian downstream oil sector is set for a transformation with the operationalization of the Port Harcourt, Warri, and Dangote Petroleum Refineries. Industry experts and stakeholders assert that these developments will introduce competitive pricing, diversify supply sources, and ultimately lower fuel costs for consumers. Energy stakeholders project that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), or petrol, currently priced between N900 and N950 per litre, could drop to as low as  N500 per litre  in 2025. Key factors driving this potential price reduction include: Increased Local Refining Capacity : The Warri, Port Harcourt, and Dangote refineries are ramping up operations, reducing Nigeria’s reliance on imports. Stable Forex Policy : A more predictable exchange rate policy reduces the cost of importing petroleum products.   I am the only Governor in Nigeria presently that all his children are schooling in the country and not even beyond Southeast - Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna  3 in Ebonyi and 2 in Enugu. Their biggest school fees is #35, 000 and when I told them in the Nigeria Governor's forum, all were surprised and felt sober. Some Commissioners in my Government has schools they are paying over 2 Million naira per term for their children but I can't imagine myself paying such amount that's more than 5Million per term  for my children. Where will I get the money to continue paying for their school fees after my temporary tenure as a Governor? I don't want to develop blood pressure during the time I should be resting.
