FROM EDWIN EBIESE TO APC AKS

Image
To the Akwa Ibom APC Media, Your persistent attempts to undermine the PDP in Akwa Ibom State are a direct affront to my office and a test of my competence. It's evident that you're pushing me to my limits, but you're well aware that none of your media officials can stand up to me. I advise you to focus on uniting your party's media team instead of futile attacks.  I'm putting you on notice: this is your final warning. Previously, I ignored direct attacks because they didn't emanate from your party's leadership. Sincerely, Edwin Ebiese Anipr Publicity Secretary, PDP Akwa Ibom State.

PRIVATE SCHOOL PROPRIETORS

Image
Of all the injustices teachers face, this one c.uts the deepest… Every year, when August comes, many schools hold back salaries. Their excuse? “Teachers don’t work in August.” But did you ever ask who writes the lesson plans during the holidays? Who spends sleepless nights preparing notes that make your school proud? Who silently thinks through how to help that slow learner catch up next term? Who sacrifices their peace just to ensure your school stays afloat? Teachers don’t get official leave like bankers or civil servants. Their only “rest” is the school holiday—yet even that is full of work. Some school owners still use them for August lessons… But instead of salary, they give them crumbs from what was earned. No recognition. No dignity. No respect. Just cold dismissal. Have you ever seen a teacher during the holidays? They’re not on vacation. They’re marking scripts. They’re writing lesson notes. They’re updating records. They’re praying for that one child who always fails to final...

WHEN THANK YOU IS NOT ENOUGH!

Image
Your Lordship, I would have simply said, thank you for visiting us on Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025, but sincerely, no amount of thank you would convey the degree of my gratitude to you and your organization, Strength in Diversity Development Centre (SDDC), Lagos, Nigeria. This is why I will rather anchor this note of gratitude on the premise that one cannot be a farmer that works before, or during farming season, and then, be made to starve. He who waters must also be watered.  Your Lordship, God has blessed you with the GIFT of ‘Liftings’ and wishing others well, so, WELLNESS Must STICk on you, your household and your Ministry. As a matter of fact, I have received several compliments from people of goodwill in the near recent time, but truthfully, "Arise and Shine" with the Biblical reference from the book of  Prophet Isaiah 60:1, remains the greatest compliment of all times, echoing in my memory, even days after.  That Tuesday, to me was just like any other day, noth...

‎Kwankwaso Welcomes APC Defectors Today

Image
‎ Kwankwaso Welcomes APC Defectors While APC Prepares to Welcome Kwankwaso, Irony at Its Peak ‎ ‎While the APC at the national level is bracing up to welcome Kwankwaso into its fold, Kwankwaso himself is busy receiving APC defectors into the NNPP in Kano. One can’t help but wonder, are these individuals defecting to the NNPP only to eventually accompany him back to the APC? Or is the APC simply hallucinating? ‎ ‎Nigerian politics is truly a spectacle. “Wetin Musa no go see for gate?” The drama never ends! ‎ ‎-Joseph Ajaba

2027: PETER OBI TO BEAR PDP FLAG

Image
In a significant political twist, Prof. Jerry Gana, one of the founding members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has announced that the party has officially contacted Peter Obi, encouraging him to come back and represent them in the 2027 presidential election. Gana emphasized that this initiative is part of PDP’s larger plan to bring together credible leaders and regain power, highlighting that Obi is a vital player with strong grassroots support and a spotless reputation.  “We have reached out to Peter Obi to return home for our party ticket,” Prof. Gana stated.  What are your thoughts? Should Peter Obi come back to PDP or stick with the coalition?
